The story started with...

What began as a child’s curiosity soon became a shared mission.

Where a Child’s Question Became a Community’s Purpose

Sometimes, the most powerful ideas are born not in boardrooms—but in conversations at home.

Aditeya was just 11 years old when he watched his father work closely with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and leading CSR organizations on a historic grassroots initiative. It was not just a project—it was a transformation.
Over 400 villages were surveyed, 2,700 rural women participated, and from them, 110 women were carefully hand-picked. From absolute scratch, micro-enterprises were built—led by women who had never imagined themselves as entrepreneurs.

Aditeya listened to these stories with wide eyes and a curious heart. Stories of courage. Stories of first earnings. Stories of dignity returning to households. Stories of women finding their voice through enterprise.

One day, he asked a simple but profound question:

“Apart from all the existing support, why can’t we create a platform for these women—at least some of them—so they can sell their products across the globe?”

That question changed everything.

The Birth of Cradle O Earth

What began as a child’s curiosity soon became a shared mission.

Cradle O Earth was born as a community platform—a bridge between rural women artisans and conscious global consumers. A space where products are not just sold, but stories are honoured. Where heritage is not diluted, but celebrated.

Aditeya didn’t just ask the question—he took ownership. He expressed a deep willingness to learn, to explore real life, real ventures, and real products, and to contribute meaningfully to product strategy and market expansion. For him, this wasn’t charity. It was participation. Responsibility. Learning by doing.

From Aditri to a Living Legacy

The original rural women entrepreneurship initiative was called Aditri—a project that went on to gain national attention for its scale, impact, and authenticity. The formal project eventually concluded.

But the soul did not end.

It continued to live on—through champions like Aditeya, through the women whose lives were changed, and through a growing community that believes in the spirit of Atmanirbhar Bharat—self-reliance rooted in dignity, not dependency.

Cradle O Earth carries forward that soul.
